About this Course:
This qualification provides management knowledge and skills in the field of organisational learning – the ability to manage and lead organisational development activities and initiatives and capability development in a business. This becomes important when businesses undertake team improvement activities, change management or other situations in which internal corporate training is required.
This area is of increasing demand as businesses undertake change to meet new generation customer expectations. The job roles that relate to this qualification may also include management in vocational training colleges.
What You’ll Learn:
There is no minimum age however, students 18 years of age or turning 18 years old prior to the commencement of the course is desirable.
Australian year 11 equivalent, or completion of Year 12 / High School in the students home country; and Diploma; and 2 years vocational experience in management roles; or Graduate Certificate; or Bachelor qualification; or No formal qualification but 5 years vocational experience in management roles.
Upper-Intermediate English (Equivalent to 5.5 academic or general IELTS) or successful completion of Charlton Brown LLN Test
Photo ID and evidence of citizenship (international students must provide copy of passport)
Students on this course require computer access for learning purposes and to complete course assessments. As such, learners must have beginner/intermediate computing skills including use of Microsoft Office programmes, in addition to hardware requirements of a desktop or portable computer with keyboard, pointing device, speaker, web camera and microphone, and a broadband internet connection.
Students who are unable to meet the academic or English language criteria may in some cases be eligble to undertake our Language, Literacy & Numeracy (LLN) test. Criteria may change at any time without notice. Additional English language requirements may apply to international applicants from non-English speaking backgrounds wishing to articulate on a visa package into a university programme.

Jim started his working life studying a degree in Engineering at UQ with a major in Electronics, he worked as a senior systems designer and analyst for Olivetti in the mid to late 80s, later turning his attention to a different career.
Jim studied Law and Commerce Economics at QUT and while studying he completed his 5 year articles of clerkship, he then spent almost two decades practicing in the areas of commercial and coorporate litigation.
Jim has since decided to pursue a new career and has successfully completed a BSc and MSc and is currently completing his doctoral studies in Science.
