Taking Hobart Centre to the next level: Renovating Hobart Centre

NIET recently undertook a new programme to enhance the campus experience at our NIET Group Hobart Centre campus, in the heart of Salamanca. Our second facility and our first in Tasmania, towards Vision 2030 we wanted to improve the student experience as our valued team and incredible students come back to campus post-covid, and as we welcome a huge new cohort of international students coming back onshore.

The re-work comprises a host of colourful new additions, including brand-new soft furnishings, collaboration & quiet reading spaces, plus colourful wall-wrapping, a gallery of iconic Tasmanian imagery, and an entirely re-thought computer lab and cafeteria space.

With this re-work of the training and study spaces at Hobart Centre, it not only brings the campus in line with our 4 other facilities from a Brand perspective, it also helps reinforce our commitment to delivering the very best for our students – not limited to Australia’s best trainers, or our custom developed programmes, but it’s also providing great spaces to study, sit, discuss & relax.
