The Graduate Diploma in Management (Learning) has been developed with industry to give professionals the capability to lead organisational development activities and initiatives.

About this Course:

This qualification provides management knowledge and skills in the field of organisational learning – the ability to manage and lead organisational development activities and initiatives and capability development in a business. This becomes important when businesses undertake team improvement activities, change management or other situations in which internal corporate training is required.

This area is of increasing demand as businesses undertake change to meet new generation customer expectations. The job roles that relate to this qualification may also include management in vocational training colleges.

Computer Skills & Equipment

Students on this course require computer access for learning purposes and to complete course assessments. As such, learners must have beginner/intermediate computer skills in programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and know how to use the Internet to access information; standard intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 is desirable. Hardware and software requirements: Desktop or laptop, Microsoft Office or equivalent, Broadband internet connection, A web camera and a speaker Learners need access to software to view online videos and images, such as: Microsoft TEAMS – available for free through the RTO subscription to Microsoft Office 365 The student can download the software from the internet on their laptops or computers with no applicable costs.

Alvin Jia Wen Chong

Alvin has been a trainer of NIET group for almost 1.5 years. He is passionate trainer who constantly conducts his teaching in a creative way. He tends to incorporate real life and interesting examples to enhance the learning process.

Education is a two way traffic, and it should be fun!

Being a (young) trainer is not easy, and what drives me to be a trainer is to see students flourish and succeed.

Jim Andreou

Jim started his working life studying a degree in Engineering at UQ with a major in Electronics, he worked as a senior systems designer and analyst for Olivetti in the mid to late 80s, later turning his attention to a different career.

Jim studied Law and Commerce Economics at QUT and while studying he completed his 5 year articles of clerkship, he then spent almost two decades practicing in the areas of commercial and coorporate litigation.

Jim has since decided to pursue a new career and has successfully completed a BSc and MSc and is currently completing his doctoral studies in Science.

Dimpy Rani is working with us as a Business and Management Trainer & Faculty Coordinator in Hobart Sandy Bay Campus since more than 1 year 8 months. Dimpy specializes in MBA & MPA degree in Business & Accounting from Melbourne and previously attained MBA in human resources from INDIA. She is responsible for educating other students on using progressive business tactics & strategies, including HR, software knowledge and management skills. Dimpy is a powerful force in the workplace and uses her positive attitude and tireless energy to encourage others to work hard and succeed. Dimpy is inspired daily by her friends and their colleagues. In her free time, Dimpy likes to walk, listen to music, and play badminton.
