Course Overview

  • Pave the way to retail success with a Diploma of Retail Leadership. This course prepares students to achieve profitable results while adhering to business strategies in roles with authority and agency.

    Students will learn to lead retail employees to drive profits, adapt to changing situations, and formulate business plans and strategies in the retail industry.

    Elective units provide the opportunity to learn additional skills from a variety of disciplines including marketing, Ecommerce, workplace health and safety, and customer engagement.

Career Outcomes

  • Graduates of this course will be qualified to work in retail positions with high levels of authority and agency. They may find employment as Supermarket Area Managers, Retail Area Managers, or Store Managers.

Entry Requirements

  • The training package does not have any entry requirement, but NIET’s specific course entry requirements are:

    • Have achieved a Certificate IV in Retail Management; or
    • Have relevant industry employment experience in a job role that has involved the application of skills and knowledge described in core units of competency from the SIR40316 Certificate IV in Retail Management.
