Course Overview

  • Ease the tension with a Certificate IV in Massage Therapy. This course prepares student to provide general health maintenance treatments in working roles, but noes not cover remedial massage therapy.

    Students will learn to establish and maintain client relationships, assess client needs, provide massage treatments, and manage legal and ethical compliance.

    Elective units provide the opportunity to learn additional skills including marketing small businesses, developing aromatherapy practice, addressing the needs of clients with chronic disease, and providing reflexology for relaxation.

  • The training package does not have any entry requirement, but NIET’s specific course entry requirements are:

    • 16 years old or above
    • Australian Year 10 high school certificate or equivalent; or
    • Pass NIET entry test

    • IELTS score of 4.5 or equivalent; or
    • Pass NIET entry test
