Course Overview

  • Keep businesses running with a Certificate III in Business Administration. This course will prepare students to provide administrative support and technical advice to business teams.

    Students will learn to contribute to the health and safety of themselves and others, type quickly and accurately, and organise workplace information logically.

    Elective units provide the choice for learning of other skills including organising schedules, processing payroll, designing and producing digital text documents and spreadsheets, and maintenance of financial records.

Entry Requirements

  • The training package does not have any entry requirement, but NIET’s specific course entry requirements are:

    Education

    • Australian Year 10 high school certificate or equivalent; or
    • Certificate II in Business;or
    • Two years vocational experience in business admin roles without formal business qualifications; or
    • Pass NIET entry test
    • Basic computer skills

    English

    • (International student only)
    • IELTS score of 3.5 or equivalent; or pass NIET entry test
